The MSC Magnifica can accommodate 2,518 passengers in 1,259 cabins and suites. You'll be looked after by a team of over a thousand crew members. This 965 ft ship has 16 decks.
2-Activities and adult entertainment
You have access to a wide range of facilities and entertainment. Between ports of call, you can take part in sports or artistic activities, dance classes, themed evenings or karaoke.
You can also play tennis, bowling, billiards or mini-golf. The ship also boasts 3 swimming pools, 9 whirlpools, a gym, a theater, an art gallery, a library, a discotheque and a casino.
For a moment of relaxation: the Aurea spa is a wellness area of over 11,840 sq. ft. In addition to beauty treatments and Balinese massages, you'll find a thalassotherapy center, relaxation room, sauna, hammam, Turkish bath and solarium.
3-Children's activities and entertainment
An underwater-themed play area, outdoor playground, mini-pool, video games or 4D cinema... your children will never be bored!
From 3 to 17 years of age, they are welcomed in age-appropriate clubs where a multitude of activities and festive moments are on offer. You can also entrust your little ones (0-3 years) to the qualified staff of the nursery.
4-Restaurants, bars and lounges
5 restaurants offer contemporary and international cuisine. These include 2 main dining rooms and the à la carte L'Oasi restaurant.
The Sahara is a self-service buffet featuring specialties from around the world. This vast dining area (almost 21,528 sq. ft.) also houses a pizzeria. And for the best in Japanese, Chinese and Thai cuisine, head to the Oriental Plaza.
The liner also boasts a dozen bars and lounges. Grab a coffee at Topazio, enjoy a refreshing cocktail at Purple bar, follow the biggest sporting events at L'Olimpiade and end the evening on the dance floor at Tiger Bar.
5-Cabins on board the MSC Magnifica
You can choose your accommodation from a variety of cabin and Suite types. Standard rooms start at 140 sq ft, with the most spacious reaching up to 195 sq ft and featuring a balcony of about 54 sq ft. They include a comfortable double bed, a relaxing armchair, a private bathroom, and a smart TV.
Suites provide an even more refined setting, with a sitting area, elegant bathroom, walk-in closet, and either a balcony or terrace, depending on the category. The most prestigious ones are located within the MSC Yacht Club, a high-end complex on board the ship offering access to private areas, 24-hour butler service, and personalized amenities. These spacious Suites range from 270 to 540 sq ft, with the most refined offering a large terrace with a whirlpool tub.
6-Environment
Concerned by global warming and keen to preserve the oceans, MSC Cruises is modernizing its cruise ships to reduce emissions of polluting gases. For example, it has installed a monitoring system on the Magnifica and the rest of its fleet, designed to optimize movements and, consequently, CO2 emissions.
The company also equips its ships with exhaust gas cleaning and heat recovery systems. As a result, the company aims to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 30% between 2008 and 2019. The company aims to achieve "Net Zero Emissions" by 2050.
