Built by VARD, she was designed for expedition cruising with PC6 ice class and relies on a fleet of Zodiacs (often listed as 17) as well as a deployable aft marina to facilitate landings and returns. As on the other ships in the series, the deck architecture emphasizes visibility and observation (elevated lounges, panoramic spaces, and outdoor circulation designed for viewing the sea and coastlines).
On board, freedom is the key word, with service that has no fixed dining times in order to adapt to the rhythm of expedition days. The culinary offering is built around the Hanseatic restaurant (à la carte dining), the Lido (gourmet buffets and outdoor grill), and Hamptons, a specialty venue dedicated to North Atlantic flavors.
