During the cruise, the atmosphere on board this sailboat is relaxed. Also, it can accommodate 166 passengers and 74 crew members provide service. 115.50 meters long, 15 meters wide and 4 decks, her draft is 5.6 meters. The highest of its four masts reaches 63 meters high. As for the 16 sails, they represent 3365 meters². He sails in particular in the Mediterranean Sea and in the Caribbean islands.
During this trip aboard the Star Flyer, water activities are on the program. You can thus practice scuba diving, kayaking, water skiing, windsurfing... Without forgetting of course the first choice excursions and visits to the ports and the islands.
Also, the crew members will introduce you to sailing. You will learn, for example, how to hoist the sails, how to use a sextant, tie a marine knot...
On the Sun deck you can enjoy the two swimming pools, sunbathe in a deckchair or admire the sea and the landscapes. It is also possible to take free yoga classes and gymnastics classes.
To liven up this cruise, the company Star Clippers can organize conferences. And on the main deck, the cozy library allows you to read in peace, play board games and access the internet via the computers available to passengers.
The sailboat's restaurant is located on the Clipper deck. You can taste the refinement of the dishes offered from international cuisine. Breakfast and lunch are buffet style. And sometimes, a barbecue can be organized during stopovers in the islands. Evening meals are served at the table and a wide range of wines will be offered.
Star Flyer's two lounges/bars are on the main deck. If you want to soak up the sun, take a seat at the outdoor Tropical Bar. As for the Piano Bar, it is particularly comfortable, well laid out, and you can enjoy your favorite cocktails there while listening to the melodies of the piano.
All Star Flyer cabins are equipped with a private bathroom, TV and DVD player, safe, hair dryer, air conditioning.
You choose from the different categories: inside cabin (8 to 11 square meters), outside cabin (11 to 12 square meters), deluxe cabin (14.5 square meters) or suite (22 square meters).
You will appreciate the refinement of the decoration with mahogany veneers and brass elements, worthy of the most beautiful sailboats.
The sailboats of the company Star Clippers are particularly respectful of the environment, sailing to the maximum with the sails. Engines are used just for docking. Thus, the carbon footprint is very low.
