Inaugurated in May 2002, the Celebrity Constellation is a cruise ship in the Celebrity Cruises fleet. She is the fourth Millennium-class ship after the Summit, Infinity and Millennium. 965 feet long and 12 decks high, the Celebrity Constellation can accommodate 2,184 passengers in 1,092 cabins. There are 997 crew members on board.
Wellness and relaxation are the order of the day! At the Spa, you can choose from a wide range of treatments and massages. The Solarium is an area reserved for adults, featuring a waterfall, whirlpools and an indoor pool. Finally, the Persian Garden is an exclusive area with tropical rain showers, aquatherapy and aromatic steam baths.
There's also a large outdoor area with swimming pool, bandstand and dance floor. Sports enthusiasts have access to a running track, an archery range and a state-of-the-art gym. The entertainment program includes shows, games and cooking and wine courses.
The "Camp at Sea" kids' club offers a wide selection of activities. The program can be customized and changes daily, according to the desires and interests of the young cruisers! Teenagers aged 13 to 17 can meet up at the XClub or discover the latest video games in a modern arcade.
The main restaurant serves international cuisine in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. 3 other restaurants are included in your package, offering a wide choice of pastas, pizzas, sushi, burgers and salads.
You can also opt for one of three specialty restaurants: Japanese, Italian and the highly original "Petit Chef". An animated 3D character appears on your table and on your plate. Your meal becomes a truly interactive show. The Celebrity Constellation is home to 9 bars, lounges and cafés.
On this ship, 80% of cabins have sea views, and more than half have private verandas. Classic cabins are at least 172 sq ft in size.
If you choose to stay in a Suite, your accommodation will range in size from 194 sq ft to over 1,400 sq ft. Residents of the Aquaclass zone have unlimited access to the Persian Garden.
The Retreat is a luxury complex reserved for passengers in the Sky Suites and above. It features a gourmet restaurant, an elegant lounge and private outdoor areas.
Since 1996, an environmental protection specialist has been present on every ship in the fleet.
To make its ships cleaner, the company has been installing solar panels on its liners since 2008. It has also replaced all its light bulbs with LED or fluorescent bulbs. The latter require 80% less energy and generate less heat.
Celebrity Cruises has been involved in the Save the Waves program since 1992. Among its main commitments: better management of the waste produced on board. Everything that can be reused or recycled must be. The rest must be disposed of properly, and must not end up in the ocean or in a landfill.
